This is a compendium of recordings (alongside a select few actual songs) from late 2024 to early 2025, when I was still getting a grasp on who or what I wanted Midifuture to be. Although some things here are trimmed and/or spliced together with other takes or bits of audio, there's no mixing or mastering (save for one track). It's all directly transferred from my old smartphone.

For a time, revisiting these tracks was irritating at best, though I couldn't help but smile when working on the compilation as a whole. The memories of experiences evoked from revisiting the ideas in this collection helped the process along, and coming across the full-fledged songs that I'd forgotten I'd written was enjoyable, to say the least. In short, it's a relief to get these "off of my chest", and they provide valuable insight for aspects of songs I didn't even know I'd wanted to reimplement.
